Истец должен принять клятву, и возмещения не будет.12Но если скотину у ответчика украли, то он должен возместить истцу за украденное.13Если скотину растерзали дикие звери, то пусть ответчик принесет труп животного для доказательства. Тогда он не будет возмещать убытки за растерзанное животное.14Если кто-то возьмет у ближнего скотину взаймы, а она получит увечье или умрет, когда хозяина не будет рядом, то он должен возместить.15Но если хозяин будет в тот момент рядом, то взявший ее взаймы не будет платить. 1[1] “If a man steals an ox or a sheep, and kills it or sells it, he shall repay five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.
