Psalm 121

New International Version

A song of ascents.

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from? 

2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. 

3 He will not let your foot slip – he who watches over you will not slumber; 

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 

5 The Lord watches over you – the Lord is your shade at your right hand; 

6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. 

7 The Lord will keep you from all harm – he will watch over your life; 

8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and for evermore.

کتاب مقدس، ترجمۀ معاصر

خداوند حافظ من است

1 چشمان خود را به کوهها دوختهام و در انتظار كمک هستم. 

2 كمک من از جانب خداوند میآيد كه آسمان و زمين را آفريد. 

3 خداوند نخواهد گذاشت پايم بلغزد و بيفتم. او كه از من حمايت میكند، هرگز نمیخوابد. 

4 او كه از اسرائيل محافظت میكند، چشمانش به خواب نمیرود. 

5 خداوند خودش از تو مراقبت مینمايد! او در كنارت است تا از تو حمايت كند. 

6 آفتاب در روز به تو آسيب نخواهد رسانيد و نه مهتاب در شب. 

7 خداوند، تو را از هر بدی دور نگاه میدارد و جانت را حفظ میكند. 

8 خداوند، رفت و آمد تو را زير نظر دارد و پيوسته از تو مراقبت مینمايد.
