Gott steht auf in der Gottesversammlung, / unter den Göttern[1] hält er Gericht. (Ge 6:2; Eph 6:12; Col 1:16)2Wie lange noch wollt ihr ungerecht richten, / gottlose Verbrecher noch fördern? ♪3Schafft dem Geringen und dem Waisenkind Recht! / Verschafft Gerechtigkeit den Gebeugten und Armen!4Rettet den Geringen und Bedürftigen, / reißt ihn aus den Klauen der gottlosen Verbrecher!5Doch sie erkennen und verstehen nichts, / sie tappen im Dunkeln umher. / Das erschüttert die Fundamente der Welt.6Ich sagte zwar: "Ihr seid Götter, / Söhne des Höchsten ihr alle!"[2] (Joh 10:34)7Doch werdet ihr sterben wie Menschen, / zugrunde gehen wie ein Tyrann.8Erhebe dich, Gott, und richte die Welt, / denn alle Völker gehören ja dir!
