1To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. O Lord, in your strength the king rejoices, and in your salvation how greatly he exults! (مز 8:2; مز 9:14; مز 28:7)2You have given him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. (مز 20:4)3For you meet him with rich blessings; you set a crown of fine gold upon his head. (2صم 12:30; 1أخ 20:2; مز 19:10; مز 59:10)4He asked life of you; you gave it to him, length of days forever and ever. (2صم 7:19; 1مل 1:31; نح 2:3; مز 61:6; مز 91:16)5His glory is great through your salvation; splendor and majesty you bestow on him. (مز 8:5; مز 45:3; مز 96:6)6For you make him most blessed forever;[1] you make him glad with the joy of your presence. (مز 16:11; مز 45:7)7For the king trusts in the Lord, and through the steadfast love of the Most High he shall not be moved. (مز 10:6; مز 16:8)8Your hand will find out all your enemies; your right hand will find out those who hate you. (إش 10:10)9You will make them as a blazing oven when you appear. The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath, and fire will consume them. (أي 20:26; مز 2:5; مز 18:8; مز 50:3; مز 83:14; مز 97:3; إش 26:11; دا 7:10; حب 3:5; ملا 4:1)10You will destroy their descendants from the earth, and their offspring from among the children of man. (1مل 13:34; أي 18:16; أي 18:19; مز 34:16; مز 37:28; مز 109:13; إش 14:20)11Though they plan evil against you, though they devise mischief, they will not succeed. (مز 2:1; مز 10:2)12For you will put them to flight; you will aim at their faces with your bows. (مز 7:12; مز 11:2; مز 18:40)13Be exalted, O Lord, in your strength! We will sing and praise your power.
