الكتاب المقدس

1 عِنْدَ خُرُوجِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنْ مِصْرَ، وَآلِ يَعْقُوبَ مِنْ بَيْنِ شَعْبٍ غَرِيبِ اللِّسَانِ. 2 صَارَ يَهُوذَا هَيْكَلاً مُقَدَّساً لَهُ، وَإِسْرَائِيلُ مَقَرَّ سُلْطَانِهِ. 3 رَأَى الْبَحْرُ الأَحْمَرُ ذَلِكَ فَهَرَبَ، وَتَرَاجَعَ نَهْرُ الأُرْدُنِّ إِلَى الْوَرَاءِ. 4 قَفَزَتِ الْجِبَالُ كَأَنَّهَا كِبَاشٌ، وَالتِّلالُ كَأَنَّهَا حُمْلانٌ. 5 مَالَكَ يَا بَحْرُ قَدْ هَرَبْتَ، وَيَا أُرْدُنُّ قَدْ رَجَعْتَ إِلَى الْوَرَاءِ؟ 6 مَالَكِ يَا جِبَالُ تَقْفِزِينَ كَالْكِبَاشِ، وَيَا تِلالُ كَالْحُمْلانِ؟ 7 تَزَلْزَلِي يَا أَرْضُ فِي حَضْرَةِ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِ يَعْقُوبَ. 8 الَّذِي حَوَّلَ الصَّخْرَةَ إِلَى جَدَاوِلَ، وَالصَّوَّانَ إِلَى يَنَابِيعِ مِيَاهٍ.

1 When Israel went out from Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language, (تك 42:23; خر 12:37; مز 81:5) 2 Judah became his sanctuary, Israel his dominion. (خر 15:17; خر 25:8; مز 78:68) 3 The sea looked and fled; Jordan turned back. (يش 3:13; مز 77:16) 4 The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs. (خر 19:18; مز 18:7; مز 29:6) 5 What ails you, O sea, that you flee? O Jordan, that you turn back? (حب 3:8) 6 O mountains, that you skip like rams? O hills, like lambs? 7 Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, (مز 96:9) 8 who turns the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a spring of water.
