1 هَلِّلُويَا! طُوبَى لِمَنْ يَخْشَى الرَّبَّ وَيَبْتَهِجُ جِدّاً بِوَصَايَاهُ. 2 ذُرِّيَّتُهُ تَكُونُ قَوِيَّةً فِي الأَرْضِ، جِيلُ الْمُسْتَقِيمِينَ يَكُونُ مُبَارَكاً. 3 يَمْتَلِئُ بَيْتُهُ مَالاً وَغِنىً، وَبِرُّهُ يَدُومُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ. 4 يُشْرِقُ نُورٌ فِي الظُّلْمَةِ لِلْمُسْتَقِيمِينَ لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ حَنَّانٌ وَرَحِيمٌ وَصِدِّيقٌ. 5 سَعِيدٌ هُوَ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي يَتَحَنَّنُ وَيُقْرِضُ مَجَّاناً وَيُدَبِّرُ شُؤُونَهُ بِالْحَيْطَةِ وَالْعَدْلِ. 6 فَإِنَّهُ لَنْ يَتَزَعْزَعَ أَبَداً. ذِكْرُ الصِّدِّيقِ يَخْلُدُ إِلَى الأَبْدِ. 7 لَنْ يَخَافَ مِنْ خَبَرِ سُوءٍ، فَقَلْبُهُ ثَابِتٌ مُتَّكِلٌ عَلَى الرَّبِّ. 8 قَلْبُهُ ثَابِتٌ لَا تَعْتَرِيهِ الْمَخَاوِفُ، وَيَشْهَدُ عِقَابَ مَضْطَهِدِيهِ. 9 يُوَزِّعُ بِسَخَاءٍ وَيُعْطِي الْفُقَرَاءَ، وَبِرُّهُ يَدُومُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ، فَيَرْتَفِعُ رَأْسُهُ بِاعْتِزَازٍ. 10 يَرَى الشِّرِّيرُ ذَلِكَ فَيَغْتَاظُ، يَصِرُّ بِأَسْنَانِهِ وَيَذُوبُ إِذْ شَهْوَةُ الشِّرِّيرِ لَا تَتَحَقَّقُ.

1 [1] Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments! (مز 1:2; مز 104:35; مز 111:10; مز 115:13; مز 128:1; مز 128:4) 2 His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. (مز 25:13; مز 37:26; مز 102:28; أم 11:21; أم 20:7) 3 Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. (مز 111:3; أم 3:16) 4 Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, merciful, and righteous. (أي 11:17; مز 97:11; مت 1:19) 5 It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice. (مز 37:26) 6 For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever. (مز 55:22; أم 10:7) 7 He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord. (مز 11:1; مز 57:7; مز 64:10; أم 1:33) 8 His heart is steady;[2] he will not be afraid, until he looks in triumph on his adversaries. 9 He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn is exalted in honor. (مز 75:10; 2كو 9:9) 10 The wicked man sees it and is angry; he gnashes his teeth and melts away; the desire of the wicked will perish! (أي 8:13; أي 16:9; مز 58:8; مت 8:12; لو 13:28)
