1First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,2for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. (عز 6:10; 1تي 3:4)3This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, (1تي 1:1; 1تي 5:4)4who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (حز 18:23; حز 18:32; 1تي 4:10; 2تي 2:25; 2تي 3:7; تي 1:1; عب 10:26)5For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man[1] Christ Jesus, (غل 3:20)6who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time. (مت 20:28; 1كو 1:6; غل 4:4; 1تي 6:15; تي 1:3)7For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. (أع 9:15; رو 9:1; أف 3:7; 1تي 1:11; 2تي 1:11)8I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling; (أي 17:9; مز 24:4; مز 63:4; مز 119:48; إش 1:15; يو 4:21)9likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, (إش 3:18; 1بط 3:3)10but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works. (1بط 3:4)11Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. (تي 2:5)12I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. (1كو 14:34)13For Adam was formed first, then Eve; (تك 1:27; تك 2:8; تك 2:18; تك 2:22)14and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. (تك 3:6; تك 3:13)15Yet she will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control. (غل 4:4; 1تي 1:14)
