Jakob segnet Ephraim und Manasse
8Als aber Israel die Söhne Josephs sah, fragte er: Wer sind diese? (Ge 48:10)9Joseph antwortete: Es sind meine Söhne, die mir Gott hier geschenkt hat! Er sprach: Bringe sie doch her zu mir, dass ich sie segne! (Ge 27:4; Ge 33:5; Ge 41:50; Heb 11:21)10Denn Israels Augen waren vom Alter kurzsichtig geworden, dass er nicht mehr [gut] sehen konnte. Als er sie nun zu ihm brachte, küsste und umarmte er sie. (Ge 27:1; 1Sa 4:15)11Und Israel sprach zu Joseph: Dass ich dein Angesicht noch sehen darf, darum hätte ich nicht zu bitten gewagt; und nun, siehe, hat mich Gott sogar deine Nachkommen sehen lassen! Auch er soll zu einem Volk werden, und auch er soll groß sein; aber doch soll sein jüngerer Bruder größer werden, und sein Same wird eine Menge von Völkern sein!
