[Pausa]3Difendete la causa del debole e dell’orfano, fate giustizia all’afflitto e al povero!4Liberate il misero e il bisognoso, salvatelo dalla mano degli empi!5Essi non conoscono né comprendono nulla; camminano nelle tenebre; tutte le fondamenta della terra sono smosse.6Io ho detto: “Voi siete dèi, siete figli dell’Altissimo”.7Eppure morrete come gli altri uomini e cadrete come ogni altro potente».8Sorgi, o Dio, giudica la terra, poiché tutte le nazioni ti appartengono.
