1Al direttore del coro. Di Davide. Per far ricordare. Affrèttati, o Dio, a liberarmi! Signore, affrèttati in mio aiuto!2Siano confusi e si vergognino quelli che cercano l’anima mia! Voltino le spalle e siano coperti d’infamia quelli che desiderano il mio male!3Indietreggino, sotto il peso della loro infamia, quelli che mi deridono.4Gioiscano ed esultino in te quelli che ti cercano; e quelli che amano la tua salvezza dicano sempre: «Sia glorificato Dio!»5Ma io sono misero e povero; o Dio, affrèttati a venire in mio aiuto; tu sei il mio sostegno e il mio liberatore; Signore, non tardare!
