1Alleluia. Cantate al Signore un cantico nuovo, cantate la sua lode nell’assemblea dei fedeli.2Si rallegri Israele in colui che lo ha fatto, esultino i figli di Sion nel loro re.3Lodino il suo nome con danze, salmeggino a lui con il tamburello e la cetra,4perché il Signore gradisce il suo popolo e adorna di salvezza gli umili.5Esultino i fedeli nella gloria, cantino di gioia sui loro letti.6Abbiano in bocca le lodi di Dio, e una spada a due tagli in mano7per punire le nazioni e infliggere castighi ai popoli;8per legare i loro re con catene e i loro nobili con ceppi di ferro,9per eseguire su di loro il giudizio scritto. Questo è l’onore riservato a tutti i suoi fedeli. Alleluia.
