1Canto dei pellegrinaggi. O Signore, io grido a te da luoghi profondi!2Signore, ascolta il mio grido; siano le tue orecchie attente al mio grido d’aiuto!3Se tieni conto delle colpe, Signore, chi potrà resistere?4Ma presso di te è il perdono, perché tu sia temuto.5Io aspetto il Signore, l’anima mia lo aspetta; io spero nella sua parola.6L’anima mia anela al Signore più che le guardie non anelino al mattino, più che le guardie al mattino.7O Israele, spera nel Signore, poiché presso il Signore è la misericordia, e la redenzione abbonda presso di lui.8Egli redimerà Israele da tutte le sue colpe.
