Glorious Things of You Are Spoken
1A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. A Song. On the holy mount stands the city he founded; (Ps 42,1; Ps 48,1; Jes 28,16)2the Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob. (Ps 78,67)3Glorious things of you are spoken, O city of God. (Ps 46,4; Jes 54,1; Jes 60,1)4Among those who know me I mention Rahab and Babylon; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Cush[1]— “This one was born there,” they say. (Hi 9,13; Ps 36,10; Ps 68,31; Jes 19,22; Joh 10,14)5And of Zion it shall be said, “This one and that one were born in her”; for the Most High himself will establish her. (Ps 48,8)6The Lord records as he registers the peoples, “This one was born there.” (Ps 69,28)7Singers and dancers alike say, “All my springs are in you.” (2Sam 6,14; Ps 36,9; Ps 68,25; Jes 12,3; Offb 21,6)
