Hoffnung für alle



1 Jubelt über den HERRN, alle, die ihr zu ihm gehört! Lobt ihn, ihr Aufrichtigen, denn das ist eure schönste Aufgabe! 2 Preist den HERRN auf der Laute und spielt für ihn auf der zehnsaitigen Harfe! 3 Singt ihm ein neues Lied und jubelt ihm zu! Schlagt in die Saiten, so gut ihr könnt! 4 Denn was der HERR sagt, das meint er auch so, und auf das, was er tut, kann man sich verlassen. 5 Er liebt Recht und Gerechtigkeit, die ganze Erde ist erfüllt von seiner Güte. 6 Nur ein Wort sprach er, und der Himmel wurde geschaffen, Sonne, Mond und Sterne entstanden, als er es befahl. 7 Er sammelte das Wasser des Meeres an einem Ort und speicherte die Ozeane in riesigen Becken. 8 Die ganze Welt soll den HERRN fürchten, ja, alle Bewohner der Erde sollen ihn achten und ehren! 9 Denn er sprach, und es geschah, er befahl, und schon war es da. 10 Er durchkreuzt die Pläne der Völker, er macht ihre eigenmächtigen Vorhaben zunichte. 11 Doch was er sich vorgenommen hat, das tut er; seine Pläne sind gültig für alle Zeit. 12 Glücklich ist die Nation, deren Gott der HERR ist! Freuen kann sich das Volk, das er als sein Eigentum erwählte! 13 Der HERR schaut vom Himmel herab und sieht jeden Menschen. 14 Von seinem Thron blickt er nieder auf alle Bewohner der Erde. 15 Er hat auch das Innerste eines jeden Menschen geformt; über alles, was sie tun, weiß er genau Bescheid. 16 Kein König siegt durch die Größe seines Heeres; kein Soldat kehrt heil aus der Schlacht zurück, nur weil er so stark ist. 17 Wer meint, Reiterheere bringen den Sieg, der hat sich getäuscht. Sie können noch so viel Schlagkraft besitzen und dennoch vernichtet werden. 18 Der HERR aber beschützt alle, die ihm mit Ehrfurcht begegnen und die auf seine Gnade vertrauen. 19 Er bewahrt sie vor dem sicheren Tod, und in der Hungersnot erhält er sie am Leben. 20 Wir setzen unsere Hoffnung auf den HERRN, er steht uns bei, ja, er ist der Schild, der uns schützt. 21 Er erfüllt unsere Herzen mit Freude; wir vertrauen ihm, dem heiligen Gott. 22 HERR, lass uns deine Liebe erfahren, wir hoffen doch auf dich!

1 Shout for joy in the Lord, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright. (Ps 32,11; Ps 147,1) 2 Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; make melody to him with the harp of ten strings! (Ps 71,22; Ps 144,9) 3 Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts. (Ps 40,3; Ps 96,1; Jes 42,10) 4 For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. (Ps 119,75) 5 He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord. (Ps 11,7; Ps 36,5; Ps 45,7; Ps 89,14; Ps 119,64) 6 By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and by the breath of his mouth all their host. (1Mo 1,6; 1Mo 2,1; Hi 26,13; Jes 11,4; Joh 1,3; Hebr 11,3; 2Petr 3,5) 7 He gathers the waters of the sea as a heap; he puts the deeps in storehouses. (2Mo 15,8; Jos 3,13; Jos 3,16; Hi 38,8; Ps 78,13) 8 Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him! 9 For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. (1Mo 1,3; Ps 147,15; Ps 147,18; Ps 148,5) 10 The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; he frustrates the plans of the peoples. (2Sam 15,34; 2Sam 17,14; Neh 4,15; Hi 5,12; Jes 8,10; Jes 19,3; Lk 1,51) 11 The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations. (Spr 19,21; Jes 46,10) 12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! (2Mo 19,5; 5Mo 7,6; 5Mo 33,29; Ps 65,4; Ps 144,15) 13 The Lord looks down from heaven; he sees all the children of man; (Hi 28,24; Ps 11,4) 14 from where he sits enthroned he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth, (1Kön 8,39; 1Kön 8,43; 1Kön 8,49; Spr 15,3; Jer 32,19) 15 he who fashions the hearts of them all and observes all their deeds. 16 The king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength. (Ps 44,6) 17 The war horse is a false hope for salvation, and by its great might it cannot rescue. (Ps 20,7; Ps 147,10; Spr 21,31; Hos 1,7) 18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, (Hi 36,7; Ps 34,15; Ps 147,11; 1Petr 3,12) 19 that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine. (Hi 5,20; Ps 37,19; Apg 12,11) 20 Our soul waits for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. (Ps 3,3; Ps 62,1; Ps 62,5; Ps 115,9; Ps 130,6; Jes 8,17) 21 For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name.
