1Halleluja – lobt den HERRN! Von ganzem Herzen will ich dem HERRN danken vor allen, die aufrichtig mit ihm leben – ja, vor der ganzen Gemeinde!2Wie gewaltig ist alles, was der HERR vollbracht hat! Wer sich über seine Taten freut, denkt immer wieder darüber nach.3Was Gott tut, ist eindrucksvoll und einzigartig; auf seine Gerechtigkeit ist für immer Verlass.4Er selbst hat alles dafür getan, dass seine Wunder nicht in Vergessenheit geraten. Gnädig und barmherzig ist der HERR!5Denen, die ihn achteten, gab er immer genug zu essen. Niemals vergisst er den Bund, den er mit Israel geschlossen hat.6Er bewies ihnen seine große Macht: Die Länder anderer Völker gab er ihnen zum Besitz.7Er ist zuverlässig und gerecht in allem, was er tut; seinen Geboten kann man völlig vertrauen.8Niemals verlieren sie ihre Gültigkeit, von Anfang bis Ende bezeugen sie seine Wahrhaftigkeit und Treue.9Der HERR hat sein Volk erlöst und einen ewigen Bund mit ihnen geschlossen. Heilig und furchterregend ist sein Name!10Alle Weisheit fängt damit an, dass man Ehrfurcht vor dem HERRN hat. Ja, klug ist, wer sein Leben nach Gottes Geboten ausrichtet. Nie wird das Lob des Herrn verstummen!
