Hoffnung für alle

Wahres Glück

1 Glücklich ist, wer nicht dem Rat gottloser Menschen folgt, wer nicht mit Sündern auf einer Seite steht, wer nicht mit solchen Leuten zusammensitzt, die über alles Heilige herziehen, 

2 sondern wer Freude hat am Gesetz des HERRN und darüber nachdenkt – Tag und Nacht. 

3 Er ist wie ein Baum, der nah am Wasser gepflanzt ist, der Frucht trägt Jahr für Jahr und dessen Blätter nie verwelken. Was er sich vornimmt, das gelingt. 

4 Ganz anders ergeht es allen, denen Gott gleichgültig ist: Sie sind wie Spreu, die der Wind verweht. 

5 Vor Gottes Gericht können sie nicht bestehen. Weil sie seine Gebote missachtet haben, sind sie aus seiner Gemeinde ausgeschlossen. 

6 Der HERR wacht über den Weg aller Menschen, die nach seinem Wort leben. Doch wer sich ihm trotzig verschließt, der läuft in sein Verderben.

The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked

1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; (Hi 21,16; Ps 26,4; Ps 107,32; Spr 1,10; Spr 1,22; Spr 3,34; Spr 4,14; Spr 19,29; Spr 21,24; Spr 29,8; Jes 28,14; Jer 15,17) 

2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. (Jos 1,8; Ps 112,1; Ps 119,1; Ps 119,35; Ps 119,47; Ps 119,92; Ps 119,97) 

3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. (1Mo 39,3; 1Mo 39,23; 4Mo 24,6; Hi 29,19; Ps 46,4; Ps 128,2; Jes 3,10; Jes 34,4; Jer 17,8; Hes 19,10; Hes 47,12) 

4 The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. (Hi 21,18) 

5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; (Ps 5,5; Ps 76,7; Hes 13,9; Nah 1,6; Lk 21,36; Eph 6,13)
