1 Halleluja! Lobt, ihr Knechte des HERRN, lobt den Namen des HERRN! (Ps 135,1) 2 Der Name des HERRN sei gepriesen von nun an bis in Ewigkeit. 3 Vom Aufgang der Sonne bis zu ihrem Untergang sei gelobt der Name des HERRN. 4 Erhaben ist der HERR über alle Völker, über den Himmeln ist seine Herrlichkeit. (Ps 95,3; Ps 148,13) 5 Wer ist wie der HERR, unser Gott, der wohnt in der Höhe, (Ps 35,10) 6 der hinabschaut in die Tiefe, auf Himmel und Erde? (Jes 57,15) 7 Den Geringen richtet er auf aus dem Staub, aus dem Schmutz erhebt er den Armen, (1Sam 2,8) 8 um ihn wohnen zu lassen bei den Fürsten, bei den Fürsten seines Volks.[1] 9 Die Kinderlose lässt er wohnen im Haus als frohe Mutter von Kindern. Halleluja! (1Sam 2,5; Jes 54,1; Lk 1,57)

1 Praise the Lord! Praise, O servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord! (Ps 34,22; Ps 69,36; Ps 102,28; Ps 104,35; Ps 135,1) 2 Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forevermore! (Hi 1,21; Ps 115,18) 3 From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! (Ps 18,3; Ps 48,10; Ps 50,1; Jes 59,19; Mal 1,11) 4 The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens! (Ps 8,1; Ps 57,5; Ps 57,11; Ps 99,2; Ps 148,13) 5 Who is like the Lord our God, who is seated on high, (Ps 35,10) 6 who looks far down on the heavens and the earth? (Ps 11,4; Ps 138,6) 7 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap, (Ps 107,41; Ps 136,23) 8 to make them sit with princes, with the princes of his people. (Hi 36,7) 9 He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the Lord! (2Mo 1,21; 1Sam 2,5; Ps 68,6; Ps 113,1; Jes 54,1)
