Er entspringt bei[1] dem Thron Gottes und des Lammes2und fließt die breite Straße entlang[2], die mitten durch die Stadt führt. An beiden Ufern des Stroms wächst der Baum des Lebens[3]. Zwölfmal im Jahr trägt er Früchte, sodass er jeden Monat abgeerntet werden kann[4], und seine Blätter bringen den Völkern Heilung. (Ge 2:9)3In dieser Stadt wird es nichts mehr geben, was unter dem Fluch Gottes steht.
