1The Lord said to Moses,2“Speak to the people of Israel, that they take for me a contribution. From every man whose heart moves him you shall receive the contribution for me. The Ark of the Covenant

The Table for Bread

(Ex 25:11)25And you shall make a rim around it a handbreadth[4] wide, and a molding of gold around the rim.26And you shall make for it four rings of gold, and fasten the rings to the four corners at its four legs.27Close to the frame the rings shall lie, as holders for the poles to carry the table. The Golden Lampstand
31“You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand shall be made of hammered work: its base, its stem, its cups, its calyxes, and its flowers shall be of one piece with it. (Ex 37:17; 1Ki 7:49; Zec 4:2; Heb 9:2; Re 1:12)32And there shall be six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it;33three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on the other branch—so for the six branches going out of the lampstand.34And on the lampstand itself there shall be four cups made like almond blossoms, with their calyxes and flowers,35and a calyx of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out from the lampstand.36Their calyxes and their branches shall be of one piece with it, the whole of it a single piece of hammered work of pure gold.37You shall make seven lamps for it. Freiwillige Gaben für das Heiligtum

(Ex 29:27)3Folgende Gaben sollt ihr entgegennehmen: Gold, Silber und Bronze,4Wolle, die blau, purpurfarben[2] oder karmesinrot gefärbt ist, Leinenstoffe und Ziegenwolle,5rot gefärbte Widderfelle, Tachasch-Leder[3], Akazienholz,6Lampenöl, Gewürze für Salböl und für wohlriechendes Räucherwerk,7Onyxsteine sowie andere Edelsteine, die man einfassen und am Schurz und der Brusttasche des Hohenpriestersanbringen kann.8Die Israeliten sollen mir ein Heiligtum bauen, denn ich will bei ihnen wohnen.9Ihr sollt meine Wohnung und die dazugehörigen Gegenstände genau nach dem Vorbild anfertigen, das ich dir jetzt zeige.[4]
Die Bundeslade und ihre Deckplatte
10Die Israeliten sollen eine Lade aus Akazienholz zimmern, eineinviertel Meter[5] lang, drei viertel Meter[6] breit und drei viertel Meter[7] hoch.11Überziehe sie innen und außen mit reinem Gold und bring ringsum eine goldene Zierleiste an.[8] (Ex 31:1)12Gieß vier goldene Ringe und montiere sie so an den vier unteren Ecken der Lade, dass sich an zwei gegenüberliegenden Seiten jeweils zwei Ringe befinden.13Fertige zwei Stangen aus Akazienholz und überziehe auch sie mit Gold.14Steck sie durch die Ringe an den Seiten der Lade, damit man sie mit ihrer Hilfe tragen kann.15Die Stangen müssen in den Ringen bleiben und dürfen nicht entfernt werden.16In die Lade lege die Gesetzestafeln, die ich dir als Zeichen für meinen Bund mit euch geben werde[9].17Stell eine Deckplatte[10] aus reinem Gold her, ebenfalls eineinviertel Meter[11] lang und drei viertel Meter[12] breit.18Schmiede für die Schmalseiten der Deckplatte zwei Kerub-Engel[13] aus gehämmertem Gold.19Arbeite sie in einem Stück aus der Deckplatte heraus, an jeder Schmalseite einen.20Ihre Flügel sollen nach oben ausgebreitet sein und die Deckplatte überspannen. Ihre Gesichter sollen einander zugewandt sein und auf die Platte herabblicken.21In die Lade lege die Gesetzestafeln, die ich dir als Zeichen für meinen Bund mit euch geben werde. Verschließ die Bundeslade von oben mit der Deckplatte.22Dort über der Deckplatte, an der Stelle zwischen den beiden Kerub-Engeln, die die Bundeslade mit den Gesetzestafeln beschirmen[14], werde ich dir begegnen. Von dort aus werde ich mit dir reden und dir alle meine Anweisungen für die Israeliten geben.
Der Tisch für die geweihten Brote
23Zimmere einen Tisch aus Akazienholz, einen Meter[15] lang, einen halben Meter[16] breit und drei viertel Meter[17] hoch.24Überziehe ihn mit reinem Gold und bring ringsum eine goldene Zierleiste an.25Befestige an der Tischplatte einen acht Zentimeter[18] hohen Rahmen[19] und verziere ihn ebenfalls mit einer goldenen Leiste.26Gieß vier goldene Ringe und montiere sie an den vier Ecken des Tisches, und zwar an den Beinen27in der Nähe des Rahmens. Sie sollen als Halterung für die Tragestangen dienen.28Diese fertige ebenfalls aus Akazienholz und überziehe sie mit Gold. Mit ihrer Hilfe kann man den Tisch transportieren.29Stell Gefäße für den Tisch her, nämlich Schalen und Schüsseln sowie Becher und Kannen für das Trankopfer. Fertige sie aus reinem Gold.30Auf dem Tisch sollen zu jeder Zeit Brote ausliegen, die mir geweiht sind.[20]
Der Leuchter
31Fertige einen Leuchter aus reinem, gehämmertem Gold an. Der ganze Leuchter – der Fuß, der Schaft und die kelchartigen Verzierungen mit ihren Blütenkelchen und Blütenblättern – soll aus einem einzigen Stück herausgearbeitet werden.32Aus seinem Schaft sollen sechs Arme hervortreten, drei auf der einen und drei auf der anderen Seite.33Jeder Arm soll mit drei Kelchen verziert werden, die wie Mandelblüten mit ihren Kelchen und Blütenblättern aussehen.[21]34Der Schaft soll vier solcher Kelche in Form von Mandelblüten aufweisen.35Einer davon soll unterhalb der Stelle liegen, wo die ersten beiden Arme ansetzen, ein zweiter unterhalb der Stelle, wo die mittleren beiden Arme ansetzen, und ein dritter unterhalb der Stelle, wo die oberen beiden Arme ansetzen. So befindet sich am Ansatz von allen drei Armpaaren[22] jeweils ein Blütenkelch.36Auch die Verzierungen und die Arme des Leuchters sollen aus reinem, gehämmertem Gold bestehen und zusammen mit dem ganzen Leuchter aus einem einzigen Stück herausgearbeitet werden.37Stell sieben Öllampen her und bring sie so auf dem Leuchter an, dass sie nach vorne leuchten.38Fertige auch die dazugehörigen Dochtscheren und Ölschalen aus reinem Gold.39Zur Herstellung des Leuchters und seines Zubehörs sollst du fünfunddreißig Kilogramm[23] reines Gold verwenden.40Achte darauf, dass du alles genau nach dem Vorbild anfertigst, das ich dir hier auf dem Berg zeige[24].«
