1 The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad! (Ps 72:10; Ps 93:1; Ps 96:11) 2 Clouds and thick darkness are all around him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne. (Ex 19:9; De 4:11; De 5:22; 1Ki 8:12; Ps 18:11; Ps 89:14) 3 Fire goes before him and burns up his adversaries all around. (Ps 21:9; Ps 50:3) 4 His lightnings light up the world; the earth sees and trembles. (Ps 77:18; Ps 96:9) 5 The mountains melt like wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth. (Jos 3:11; Jud 5:5; Ps 68:2; Na 1:5) 6 The heavens proclaim his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory. (Ps 50:6; Ps 96:3; Isa 40:5; Isa 66:18) 7 All worshipers of images are put to shame, who make their boast in worthless idols; worship him, all you gods! (Ps 96:5; Isa 42:17; Isa 44:9; Heb 1:6) 8 Zion hears and is glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoice, because of your judgments, O Lord. (Ps 48:11) 9 For you, O Lord, are most high over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods. (Ps 83:18; Ps 95:3) 10 O you who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. 1 Der HERR ist König. Es juble die Erde! Freuen sollen sich die vielen Inseln. (Ps 24:7) 2 Rings um ihn her sind Wolken und Dunkel, Gerechtigkeit und Recht sind die Stützen seines Thrones. (Ps 89:15) 3 Feuer geht vor ihm her, verzehrt seine Gegner ringsum. (Ps 18:9) 4 Seine Blitze erhellen den Erdkreis, die Erde sieht es und bebt. (Ps 77:19) 5 Berge schmelzen wie Wachs vor dem HERRN, vor dem Angesicht des Herrn der ganzen Erde. (Ps 68:3; Mic 1:4) 6 Seine Gerechtigkeit verkünden die Himmel, seine Herrlichkeit schauen alle Völker. (Ps 50:6) 7 Alle, die Bildern dienen, werden zuschanden, / die sich der Götzen rühmen. Vor ihm werfen sich alle Götter nieder. 8 Zion hört es und freut sich, / Judas Töchter jubeln, HERR, über deine Urteile. (Ps 48:12) 9 Denn du, HERR, bist der Höchste über der ganzen Erde, hoch erhaben bist du über alle Götter. (Ps 83:19; Ps 95:3; Ps 136:2) 10 Die ihr den HERRN liebt, hasst das Böse! / Er behütet das Leben seiner Frommen, er entreißt sie der Hand der Frevler. (Ps 121:7) 11 Licht wird ausgesät für den Gerechten, Freude für die, die geraden Herzens sind. (Ps 27:1; Ps 43:3; Ps 112:4; Pr 13:9; Isa 58:10; Joh 8:12) 12 Freut euch am HERRN, ihr Gerechten, dankt seinem heiligen Namen! (Ps 30:5)
