1 I cry aloud to God, aloud to God, and he will hear me. (Ps 3:4) 2 In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out without wearying; my soul refuses to be comforted. (Ge 37:35; Ps 20:1; Ps 50:15; Ps 63:6; Ps 86:7; Ps 143:6; Isa 26:9; Isa 26:16)

6 I said,^[1] “Let me remember my song in the night; let me meditate in my heart.” Then my spirit made a diligent search: (Ps 4:4; Ps 42:8) 7 “Will the Lord spurn forever, and never again be favorable? (Ps 44:9; Ps 85:1) 8 Has his steadfast love forever ceased? Are his promises at an end for all time? (Ro 9:6) 9 Has God forgotten to be gracious? Ein Psalm Asafs. 2 Ich rufe zu Gott, ich schreie, ich rufe zu Gott, dass er mich hört. 3 Am Tag meiner Not suchte ich den Herrn;/ unablässig erhob ich nachts meine Hände, meine Seele ließ sich nicht trösten.^[1] (Ps 50:15; Ps 88:2) 4 Denke ich an Gott, muss ich seufzen; sinne ich nach, dann will mein Geist verzagen. [Sela] 5 Offen gehalten hast du die Lider meiner Augen; ich war aufgewühlt und konnte nicht reden. (Ps 119:148) 6 Ich sann nach über die Tage der Vorzeit, über längst vergangene Jahre. (Ps 143:5) 7 Ich denke an mein Saitenspiel, / während der Nacht sinne ich nach in meinem Herzen, es grübelt mein Geist. 8 Wird der Herr denn auf ewig verstoßen und niemals mehr erweisen seine Gunst? 9 Hat seine Huld für immer ein Ende? Hat aufgehört sein Wort für alle Geschlechter? 10 Hat Gott vergessen, dass er gnädig ist? Oder hat er im Zorn sein Erbarmen verschlossen?
