1 A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. O Lord, how many are my foes! Many are rising against me; (2Sa 15:12; 2Sa 15:14; 2Sa 18:31) 2 many are saying of my soul, “There is no salvation for him in God.” [1] (2Sa 16:8; Ps 71:11) 3 But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. (Ge 15:1; Job 1:10; Job 10:15; Ps 27:5; Ps 28:7; Ps 84:9; Ps 119:114) 4 I cried aloud to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy hill. (Ps 2:6; Ps 6:8; Ps 34:4; Ps 34:6; Ps 60:5; Ps 77:1; Ps 108:6; Ps 142:1) 5 I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the Lord sustained me. (Le 26:6; Job 11:18; Ps 4:8; Pr 3:24) 6 I will not be afraid of many thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around. (1Ki 20:12; Ps 23:4; Ps 27:3; Isa 22:7) 7 Arise, O Lord! Save me, O my God! For you strike all my enemies on the cheek; you break the teeth of the wicked. (Nu 10:35; Job 16:10; Job 29:17; Ps 7:6; Ps 9:19; Ps 10:12; Ps 58:6) 8 Salvation belongs to the Lord; your blessing be on your people! 1 Ein Psalm Davids, als er vor seinem Sohn Abschalom floh. (2Sa 15:1) 2 HERR, wie viele sind meine Bedränger; viele stehen gegen mich auf. (Ps 25:19) 3 Viele gibt es, die von mir sagen: Er findet keine Hilfe bei Gott. [Sela] 4 Du aber, HERR, bist ein Schild für mich, du bist meine Ehre und erhebst mein Haupt. (Ge 15:1; De 33:29; Ps 7:11; Ps 18:3; Ps 33:20; Ps 84:12; Ps 115:9; Pr 30:5; Sir 34:16) 5 Ich habe laut zum HERRN gerufen; da gab er mir Antwort von seinem heiligen Berg. [Sela] 6 Ich legte mich nieder und schlief, ich erwachte, denn der HERR stützt mich. (Ps 4:9) 7 Viele Tausende von Kriegern fürchte ich nicht, die mich ringsum belagern. (Ps 27:3) 8 HERR, steh auf, mein Gott, bring mir Hilfe! Denn all meinen Feinden hast du den Kiefer zerschmettert, hast den Frevlern die Zähne zerbrochen. 9 Beim HERRN ist die Hilfe.
