Psalm 112

1 [1] Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments! (Ps 1:2; Ps 104:35; Ps 111:10; Ps 115:13; Ps 128:1; Ps 128:4) 2 His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. (Ps 25:13; Ps 37:26; Ps 102:28; Pr 11:21; Pr 20:7) 3 Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. (Ps 111:3; Pr 3:16) 4 Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, merciful, and righteous. (Job 11:17; Mt 1:19) 5 It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice. (Ps 37:26) 6 For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered forever. (Ps 55:22; Pr 10:7) 7 He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD. (Ps 11:1; Ps 57:7; Ps 64:10; Pr 1:33) 8 His heart is steady;[2] he will not be afraid, until he looks in triumph on his adversaries. 9 He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn is exalted in honor. (Ps 75:10; 2Co 9:9) 10 The wicked man sees it and is angry; he gnashes his teeth and melts away; the desire of the wicked will perish! (Job 8:13; Ps 58:8; Mt 8:12; Lu 13:28)

1 Halleluja! Selig der Mann, der den HERRN fürchtet und sich herzlich freut an seinen Geboten. (Ps 1:1; Ps 128:1) 2 Seine Nachkommen werden mächtig im Land, das Geschlecht der Redlichen wird gesegnet. (Pr 20:7) 3 Wohlstand und Reichtum füllen sein Haus, seine Gerechtigkeit hat Bestand für immer. (Ps 128:2) 4 Im Finstern erstrahlt er als Licht den Redlichen: Gnädig und barmherzig ist der Gerechte. (Ps 97:11; Ps 116:5) 5 Glücklich ein Mann, der gnädig ist und leiht ohne Zinsen, der nach dem Recht das Seine ordnet. (Job 29:12) 6 Niemals gerät er ins Wanken; ewig denkt man an den Gerechten. (Pr 10:7) 7 Er fürchtet sich nicht vor böser Kunde, sein Herz ist fest, auf den HERRN vertraut er. 8 Sein Herz ist getrost, er fürchtet sich nicht, er wird herabschauen auf seine Bedränger. (Ps 54:9) 9 Reichlich gibt er den Armen, / seine Gerechtigkeit hat Bestand für immer, seine Macht steht hoch in Ehren. (Pr 22:9; 2Co 9:9) 10 Der Frevler sieht es voll Unmut, / er wird mit den Zähnen knirschen und vergehen. Die Wünsche der Frevler werden zunichte.
