Drohendes Gericht über die Weltmächte – Sammlung Israels

1 An jenem Tag wird der HERR mit seinem harten, großen und starken Schwert heimsuchen den Leviatan^[1], die flüchtige Schlange, und den Leviatan^[2], die gewundene Schlange, und wird das Ungeheuer erschlagen^[3], das im Meer ist^[4]. (Hi 26,13; Jes 51,9; Hes 29,3) 2 An jenem Tag ⟨wird man sagen⟩: Ein prächtiger Weinberg^[5]! Besingt ihn! (Ps 80,9; Jes 5,1) 3 Ich, der HERR, behüte ihn, bewässere ihn alle Augenblicke. Damit ihm nichts zustößt^[6], behüte ich ihn Nacht und Tag. (1Kön 8,59; Jes 44,3) 4 Zorn habe ich nicht. Oh, fände ich Dornen und Disteln ⟨darin⟩, im Kampf würde ich auf sie losgehen, sie allesamt verbrennen! (2Sam 23,7; Jer 29,11) 5 Oder man müsste sich an meinen Schutz anklammern^[7], Frieden mit mir machen, Frieden machen mit mir. 6 In den kommenden ⟨Tagen⟩ wird Jakob Wurzeln schlagen, Israel blühen und knospen; und sie werden mit Früchten füllen die Fläche des Erdkreises. (Jes 37,31; Hos 14,6) 7 Hat er es geschlagen, wie er die schlug, die es schlugen? Oder ist er ermordet worden, wie seine Mörder^[8] ermordet wurden? (Jer 30,11) 8 Mit Maßen^[9], als du es verstießest, hast du mit ihm einen Rechtsstreit geführt. Er trieb es fort^[10] mit seinem heftigen Hauch am Tag des Ostwindes. 9 Wahrlich, dadurch wird die Schuld Jakobs gesühnt werden. Und dies ist die ganze Frucht der Hinwegnahme seiner Sünde: dass es alle Altarsteine zerschlagenen Kalksteinen gleichmachen wird ⟨und Bilder der⟩ Ascherim und Räucheraltäre sich nicht mehr erheben. 10 Denn die befestigte Stadt ist einsam, eine preisgegebene Wohnstätte^[11] und verlassen wie die Steppe. Dort weidet der Jungstier, und dort lagert er und frisst ihre Zweige kahl. (Jes 24,10) 11 Wenn ihre Zweige dürr geworden sind, werden sie abgebrochen; Frauen kommen, zünden sie an. Denn es ist kein verständiges Volk. 12 Und an jenem Tag wird es geschehen, da wird der HERR ⟨Ähren⟩ ausklopfen vom Euphratstrom an bis zum Bach Ägyptens, und ihr werdet zusammengelesen werden, einer nach dem andern, ihr Söhne Israel. (5Mo 30,3; Jos 15,4; 1Kön 8,65; Jer 3,14; Am 9,9)

13 Und an jenem Tag wird es geschehen, da wird in ein großes Horn gestoßen werden, und die Verlorenen im Land Assur und die Vertriebenen im Land Ägypten werden kommen und den HERRN anbeten^[12] auf dem heiligen Berg in Jerusalem. Israel will be saved

1 At that time the LORD will punish Leviathan with his sword. His great, powerful and deadly sword will punish the snake that glides through the sea. He will kill that twisting sea monster. 2 At that time the LORD will sing about his fruitful vineyard. He will say, 3 ‘I am the LORD. I watch over my vineyard. I water it all the time. I guard it day and night. I do it so no one can harm it. 4 I am not angry with my vineyard. I wish thorns and bushes would come up in it. Then I would march out against them in battle. I would set all of them on fire. 5 So the enemies of my people should come to me for safety. They should make peace with me. I will say it again. They should make peace with me.’ 6 In days to come, Jacob’s people will put down roots like a vine. Israel will bud and bloom. They will fill the whole world with fruit. 7 The LORD struck down those who struck down Israel. But he hasn’t punished Israel as much. The LORD killed those who killed many of his people. But he hasn’t punished his people as much. 8 The LORD will use war to punish Israel. He will make them leave their land. With a strong blast of his anger he will drive them out. It will be as if the east wind were blowing. 9 The people of Jacob will have to pay for their sin. Here is how they will show that their sin has been removed. They will make all the altar stones like limestone. They will crush them to pieces. No poles used to worship the female god named Asherah will be left standing. No incense altars will be left either. 10 Cities that have high walls around them will become empty. They will be settlements with no one in them. They will be like a desert. Calves will eat and lie down in them. They will strip bare the branches of their trees. 11 When their twigs are dry, they will be broken off. Then women will come and make fires with them. The people of Jacob don’t understand the LORD. So the God who made them won’t be concerned about them. Their Creator won’t be kind to them. 12 At that time the LORD will separate Israel from other people. He will gather the Israelites together one by one. He will gather them from the River Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt. 13 At that time a loud trumpet will be blown. Those who were dying in Assyria will come and worship the LORD. So will those who were taken away to Egypt. All of them will worship the LORD on his holy mountain in Jerusalem.
