1¡Oh ’Elohim, los gentiles han invadido tu heredad, Han profanado tu Santuario y reducido Jerusalem a escombros!2Dieron los cuerpos de tus siervos por comida a las aves del cielo; La carne de tus santos a las bestias de la tierra.3Han derramado su sangre como agua en torno a Jerusalem, Y no hay quien los sepulte.4Hemos venido a ser oprobio de nuestros vecinos, Escarnio y burla de quienes nos rodean.5¿Hasta cuándo, oh YHVH? ¿Estarás airado para siempre? ¿Arderá tu celo como fuego?6Derrama tu ira sobre las naciones que no te conocen, Y sobre los reinos que no invocan tu Nombre.7Porque han consumido a Jacob, y han desolado su morada.8No tengas en memoria contra nosotros las iniquidades de nuestros antepasados, ¡Apresúrate!, y vengan a nuestro encuentro tus misericordias; Porque estamos abatidos en extremo.9¡Oh Dios de nuestra salvación, Ayúdanos, por la gloria de tu Nombre! ¡Haznos libres y expía nuestros pecados, por amor de tu Nombre!10¿Por qué han de decir los gentiles: Dónde está su Dios? ¡Sea conocida entre las naciones, a nuestra vista, la venganza de la sangre derramada de tus siervos!11¡Llegue ante ti el gemido del cautivo! Conforme a la grandeza de tu brazo, preserva a los sentenciados a muerte,12Y devuelve a nuestros vecinos en su mismo seno, siete veces la afrenta con que te han afrentado, ¡oh Adonay!13Así nosotros, pueblo tuyo y ovejas de tu prado, Te alabaremos para siempre, De generación en generación contaremos de tu alabanza.

1A Psalm of Asaph. O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.2The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.3Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them .4We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.5How long, LORD? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy burn like fire?6Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name.7For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place.8O remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.9Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name' sake.10Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed.11Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;12And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.13So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.
