New International Reader’s Version



1 The LORD said to Moses, 2 ‘Here is a command I want you to give the Israelites. Tell them, “Make sure to present to me my food offerings. Do it at the appointed time. Their smell will please me.” 3 Tell them, “Here is the food offering you must present to the LORD. Present to him two lambs a year old. They must not have any flaws. Present them as a regular burnt offering each day. 4 Offer one lamb in the morning. Offer the other when the sun goes down. 5 Present a grain offering along with them. It must have 1.5 kilograms of the finest flour. Mix it with a litre of oil made from pressed olives. 6 It is the regular burnt offering. The LORD established it at Mount Sinai. It has a pleasant smell. It is a food offering presented to the LORD. 7 Along with that, offer a litre of wine as a drink offering. It must be given along with each lamb. Pour out the drink offering to the LORD at the sacred tent. 8 Offer the second lamb when the sun goes down. Sacrifice it along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering that you present in the morning. It is a food offering. Its smell pleases the LORD. 



9 ‘ “On the Sabbath day, make an offering of two lambs. They must be a year old. They must not have any flaws. Sacrifice them along with their drink offering. Sacrifice them along with a grain offering of 3 kilograms of the finest flour. Mix it with olive oil. 10 It is the burnt offering for every Sabbath day. It is in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. 



11 ‘ “On the first day of every month, bring to the LORD a burnt offering. Bring two young bulls and one ram. Also bring seven male lambs a year old. They must not have any flaws. 12 Present a grain offering along with each bull. It must have 4.5 kilograms of the finest flour. Mix it with olive oil. Present a grain offering along with the ram. It must have 3 kilograms of the finest flour. Mix it with oil. 13 Present a grain offering along with each lamb. It must have 1.5 kilograms of the finest flour. Mix it with oil. It is for a burnt offering. It has a pleasant smell. It is a food offering presented to the LORD. 14 Present a drink offering along with each bull. It must have 2 litres of wine. Offer 1.5 litres along with the ram. And offer 1 litre along with each lamb. It is the burnt offering for each month. It must be made on the day of each New Moon feast during the year. 15 One male goat must be sacrificed to the LORD as a sin offering. It is in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. 



16 ‘ “The LORD’s Passover Feast must be held on the 14th day of the first month. 17 On the 15th day of the month there must be a feast. For seven days eat bread made without yeast. 18 On the first day come together for a special service. Do not do any regular work. 19 Present to the LORD a food offering. Present a burnt offering of two young bulls and one ram. Also present seven male lambs a year old. They must not have any flaws. 20 Present a grain offering along with each bull. The offering must have 4.5 kilograms of the finest flour. Mix it with olive oil. Offer 3 kilograms along with the ram. 21 Offer 1.5 kilograms along with each of the seven lambs. 22 Include a male goat as a sin offering. It will pay for your sin. 23 Offer everything in addition to the regular morning burnt offering. 24 Present the food offering every day for seven days. The smell of the offering will please the LORD. You must present the offering in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. 25 On the seventh day come together for a special service. Do not do any regular work. 



26 ‘ “On the day you gather the first share of your crops, present to the LORD an offering of your first grain. Do it during the Feast of Weeks. Come together for a special service. Do not do any regular work. 27 Sacrifice a burnt offering of two young bulls and one ram. Also sacrifice seven male lambs a year old. The smell of the offering will please the LORD. 28 Present a grain offering along with each bull. It must have 4.5 kilograms of the finest flour. Mix it with olive oil. Offer 3 kilograms along with the ram. 29 Offer 1.5 kilograms along with each of the seven lambs. 30 Include a male goat to pay for your sin. 31 Present everything along with the drink offerings. Do it in addition to the regular burnt offering and its grain offering. Be sure the animals do not have any flaws.

1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Command the people of Israel and say to them, ‘My offering, my food for my food offerings, my pleasing aroma, you shall be careful to offer to me at its appointed time.’ (Ge 8:21; Le 3:11) 3 And you shall say to them, This is the food offering that you shall offer to the Lord: two male lambs a year old without blemish, day by day, as a regular offering. (Ex 29:38) 4 The one lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; 5 also a tenth of an ephah[1] of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with a quarter of a hin[2] of beaten oil. (Ex 16:36; Ex 29:40; Le 2:1; Nu 15:4) 6 It is a regular burnt offering, which was ordained at Mount Sinai for a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord. (Ex 29:42; Am 5:25) 7 Its drink offering shall be a quarter of a hin for each lamb. In the Holy Place you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the Lord. 8 The other lamb you shall offer at twilight. Like the grain offering of the morning, and like its drink offering, you shall offer it as a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord. 



9 “On the Sabbath day, two male lambs a year old without blemish, and two tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with oil, and its drink offering: 10 this is the burnt offering of every Sabbath, besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. (Eze 46:4) 



11 “At the beginnings of your months, you shall offer a burnt offering to the Lord: two bulls from the herd, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish; (Nu 10:10; 1Sa 20:5; 1Ch 23:31; 2Ch 2:4; Ezr 3:5; Isa 1:13; Eze 45:17; Eze 46:6; Ho 2:11; Col 2:16) 12 also three tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with oil, for each bull, and two tenths of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with oil, for the one ram; (Nu 15:4) 13 and a tenth of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for every lamb; for a burnt offering with a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord. 14 Their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull, a third of a hin for a ram, and a quarter of a hin for a lamb. This is the burnt offering of each month throughout the months of the year. 15 Also one male goat for a sin offering to the Lord; it shall be offered besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. (Nu 15:24; Nu 28:22; Nu 28:30; Nu 29:11; Nu 29:16; Nu 29:19; Nu 29:25) 



16 “On the fourteenth day of the first month is the Lord’s Passover, (Ex 12:6; De 16:1; Eze 45:21) 17 and on the fifteenth day of this month is a feast. Seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten. (Ex 12:18; Le 23:6) 18 On the first day there shall be a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work, (Ex 12:16; Le 23:7) 19 but offer a food offering, a burnt offering to the Lord: two bulls from the herd, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old; see that they are without blemish; (Le 22:20; Nu 28:31; Nu 29:8; Nu 29:13; De 15:21; De 17:1) 20 also their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil; three tenths of an ephah shall you offer for a bull, and two tenths for a ram; 21 a tenth shall you offer for each of the seven lambs; 22 also one male goat for a sin offering, to make atonement for you. (Nu 28:15; Nu 28:30; Nu 29:22; Nu 29:28; Nu 29:31; Nu 29:34; Nu 29:38) 23 You shall offer these besides the burnt offering of the morning, which is for a regular burnt offering. 24 In the same way you shall offer daily, for seven days, the food of a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord. It shall be offered besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. 25 And on the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work. (Ex 12:16; Ex 13:6; Le 23:8) 



26 “On the day of the firstfruits, when you offer a grain offering of new grain to the Lord at your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work, (Ex 23:16; Ex 34:22; Le 23:10; Le 23:15; De 16:10; Ac 2:1) 27 but offer a burnt offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord: two bulls from the herd, one ram, seven male lambs a year old; (Le 23:18) 28 also their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, three tenths of an ephah for each bull, two tenths for one ram, 29 a tenth for each of the seven lambs; 30 with one male goat, to make atonement for you. (Nu 28:15; Nu 28:22) 31 Besides the regular burnt offering and its grain offering, you shall offer them and their drink offering. See that they are without blemish. (Nu 28:19)
