Ein Psalmlied. 2 Gott sei uns gnädig und segne uns; er lasse sein Angesicht leuchten über uns, (Sela) 3 damit man auf Erden deinen Weg erkenne, unter allen Heidenvölkern dein Heil. 4 Es sollen dir danken die Völker, o Gott, alle Völker sollen dir danken! 5 Die Nationen sollen sich freuen und jauchzen, weil du die Völker recht richtest und die Nationen auf Erden führst. (Sela.) 6 Es sollen dir danken die Völker, o Gott; alle Völker sollen dir danken! 7 Das Land gibt sein Gewächs; es segne uns Gott, unser Gott. 8 Es segne uns Gott, und alle Enden der Erde sollen ihn fürchten!

1 God, have mercy on us and bless us. May you be pleased with us. 2 Then your ways will be known on earth. All nations will see that you have the power to save. 3 God, may the nations praise you. May all the people on earth praise you. 4 May the nations be glad and sing for joy. You rule the people of the earth fairly. You guide the nations of the earth. 5 God, may the nations praise you. May all the people on earth praise you. 6 The land produces its crops. God, our God, blesses us. 7 May God continue to bless us. Then people from one end of the earth to the other will have respect for him.
