1– ¡Aleluya! ¡Alabado sea el SEÑOR! ¡Alabad el nombre del SEÑOR! ¡Siervos del SEÑOR, alabadlo,2vosotros, que permanecéis en la casa del SEÑOR, en los atrios de la casa del Dios nuestro!3Alabad al SEÑOR, porque el SEÑOR es bueno; cantad salmos a su nombre, porque eso es agradable.4El SEÑOR escogió a Jacob como su propiedad, a Israel como su posesión.5Yo sé que el SEÑOR, nuestro Soberano, es más grande que todos los dioses.6El SEÑOR hace todo lo que quiere en los cielos y en la tierra, en los mares y en todos sus abismos.7Levanta las nubes desde los confines de la tierra; envía relámpagos con la lluvia y saca de sus depósitos a los vientos.8A los primogénitos de Egipto hirió de muerte, tanto a hombres como a animales.9En tu corazón mismo, oh Egipto, Dios envió señales y maravillas contra el faraón y todos sus siervos.10A muchas naciones las hirió de muerte; a reyes poderosos les quitó la vida:11a Sijón, el rey amorreo; a Og, el rey de Basán, y a todos los reyes de Canaán.12Entregó sus tierras como herencia, ¡como herencia para su pueblo Israel!13Tu nombre, SEÑOR, es eterno; tu renombre, por todas las generaciones.14Ciertamente el SEÑOR juzgará a su pueblo, y de sus siervos tendrá compasión.15Los ídolos de los paganos son de oro y plata, producto de manos humanas.16Tienen boca, pero no pueden hablar; ojos, pero no pueden ver;17tienen oídos, pero no pueden oír; ¡ni siquiera hay aliento en su boca!18Semejantes a ellos son sus hacedores y todos los que confían en ellos.19Pueblo de Israel, bendice al SEÑOR; descendientes de Aarón, bendecid al SEÑOR;20descendientes de Leví, bendecid al SEÑOR; los que teméis al SEÑOR, bendecidlo.21Desde Sión sea bendito el SEÑOR, el que habita en Jerusalén. ¡Aleluya! ¡Alabado sea el SEÑOR!

1Praise the Lord! Praise the name of the Lord, give praise, O servants of the Lord,2who stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God!3Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; sing to his name, for it is pleasant!*4For the Lord has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel as his own possession.5For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.6Whatever the Lord pleases, he does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps.7He it is who makes the clouds rise at the end of the earth, who makes lightnings for the rain and brings forth the wind from his storehouses.8He it was who struck down the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and of beast;9who in your midst, O Egypt, sent signs and wonders against Pharaoh and all his servants;10who struck down many nations and killed mighty kings,11Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan,12and gave their land as a heritage, a heritage to his people Israel.13Your name, O Lord, endures forever, your renown,* O Lord, throughout all ages.14For the Lord will vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants.15The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of human hands.16They have mouths, but do not speak; they have eyes, but do not see;17they have ears, but do not hear, nor is there any breath in their mouths.18Those who make them become like them, so do all who trust in them.19O house of Israel, bless the Lord!
