Psalm 130 | New International Version

A song of ascents.

1 Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord; 2 Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. 3 If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? 4 But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you. 5 I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope. 6 I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning. 7 Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. 8 He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.

1 Ein Wallfahrtslied. Aus der Tiefe rufe ich zu dir, o HERR: 2 Herr, höre meine Stimme! Lass deine Ohren aufmerksam sein auf die Stimme meines Flehens! 3 Wenn du, o HERR, Sünden anrechnest, Herr, wer kann bestehen? 4 Aber bei dir ist die Vergebung, damit man dich fürchte. 5 Ich harre auf den HERRN, meine Seele harrt, und ich hoffe auf sein Wort. 6 Meine Seele harrt auf den Herrn mehr als die Wächter auf den Morgen, mehr als die Wächter auf den Morgen. 7 Israel, hoffe auf den HERRN! Denn bei dem HERRN ist die Gnade, und bei ihm ist Erlösung in Fülle. 8 Ja, er wird Israel erlösen von allen seinen Sünden.
