Psalm 91 | New International Version

1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.* 2 I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’ 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. 9 If you say, ‘The Lord is my refuge,’ and you make the Most High your dwelling, 10 no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. 14 ‘Because he* loves me,’ says the Lord, ‘I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.’

خداوند حافظ ماست

1 آنكه به خدای قادر مطلق پناه میبرد، زير سايهٔ او در امان خواهد بود. 2 او به خداوند خواهد گفت«تو پناهگاه و خدای من هستی. من بر تو توكل دارم.» 3 خداوند، تو را از هر دام خطرناک و بيماری كشنده خواهد رهانيد. 4 او تو را در زير بالهای خود خواهد گرفت و از تو مراقبت خواهد كرد. وعدههای امين او برای تو چون سلاح و سپر میباشد. 5 از بلاهای شب نخواهی ترسيد و از حملات ناگهانی روز بيم نخواهی داشت. وبايی كه در تاريكی میخزد تو را نخواهد ترساند و طاعونی كه در روشنايی كشتار میكند تو را نخواهد هراساند. 7 اگر هزار نفر در كنار تو بيفتند و ده هزار نفر در اطراف تو جان بسپارند، به تو آسيبی نخواهد رسيد. 8 تنها با چشمان خود، خواهی نگريست و مجازات گناهكاران را خواهی ديد. 9 هيچ بدی دامنگير تو نخواهد شد و بلايی بر خانهٔ تو سايه نخواهد افكند، زيرا تو به خداوند پناه بردهای و زير سايهٔ خدای قادر متعال به سر میبری. 11 او به فرشتگان خود دستور میدهد تا به هر راهی كه بروی، از تو حمايت و محافظت كنند. 12 آنها تو را روی دست خود خواهند گرفت تا پايت به سنگ نخورد. 13 شير درنده و مار سمی را زير پا له خواهی كرد و آسيبی به تو نخواهد رسيد! 14 خداوند میفرمايد: «آنانی را كه مرا دوست دارند، نجات خواهم داد و كسانی را كه مرا میشناسند، محافظت خواهم كرد. 15 وقتی دعا كنند، دعايشان را مستجاب خواهم ساخت و چون در زحمت بيفتند، به كمک ايشان خواهم شتافت؛ آنها را خواهم رهانيد و سرافراز خواهم ساخت. 16 به آنها عمر دراز خواهم بخشيد و نجاتشان خواهم داد.»
