1This is what the Lord says: ‘Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed.2Blessed is the one who does this – the person who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps their hands from doing any evil.’3Let no foreigner who is bound to the Lord say, ‘The Lord will surely exclude me from his people.’ And let no eunuch complain, ‘I am only a dry tree.’4For this is what the Lord says: ‘To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant –5to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will endure for ever.6And foreigners who bind themselves to the Lord to minister to him, to love the name of the Lord, and to be his servants, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant –7these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.’8The Sovereign Lord declares – he who gathers the exiles of Israel: ‘I will gather still others to them besides those already gathered.’
God’s accusation against the wicked
9Come, all you beasts of the field, come and devour, all you beasts of the forest!10Israel’s watchmen are blind, they all lack knowledge; they are all mute dogs, they cannot bark; they lie around and dream, they love to sleep.11They are dogs with mighty appetites; they never have enough. They are shepherds who lack understanding; they all turn to their own way, they seek their own gain.12‘Come,’ each one cries, ‘let me get wine! Let us drink our fill of beer! And tomorrow will be like today, or even far better.’

نجات قومهای جهان
1خداوند به قوم خود چنين میگويد: «با انصاف رفتار كنيد و آنچه را كه راست و درست است انجام دهيد، زيرا بزودی میآيم تا شما را آزاد سازم.2من كسانی را كه حرمت روز ”سَبَت“ را نگاه میدارند و از انجام دادن هر كار بدی دوری میكنند، بركت خواهم داد.»3قومهای غيريهود نيز وقتی خداوند را بپذيرند، از بركت او برخوردار خواهند شد. پس ايشان نگويند: «خداوند ما را از قوم خود نمیداند.» همچنين مردانی كه نمیتوانند صاحب فرزند شوند گمان نكنند كه از قوم خدا جدا هستند؛4زيرا خداوند دربارهٔ آنها میگويد: «اگر ايشان حرمت روز سبت را نگه دارند و آنچه را كه مورد پسند من است بجا آورند و به عهد من وفادار بمانند،5آنگاه نام ايشان در خانهٔ من و در ميان قوم من تا ابد به يادگار خواهد ماند و نامی پر افتخارتر از نام كسانی خواهد بود كه صاحب فرزند هستند.»6همچنين خداوند در مورد قومهای غيريهود كه به قوم او ملحق میشوند و او را خدمت میكنند، و او را دوست داشته، خدمتگزار او میشوند، چنين میگويد: «اگر حرمت روز سبت را نگاه دارند و به عهد من وفادار بمانند،7ايشان را نيز به كوه مقدس خود خواهم آورد و در خانهٔ عبادتم ايشان را شاد خواهم ساخت و قربانیها و هدايای ايشان را قبول خواهم كرد. خانهٔ من ”خانهٔ عبادت همهٔ قومها“ ناميده خواهد شد.»8خداوند كه بنیاسرائيل را از تبعيد به وطن باز میگرداند، میفرمايد: «علاوه بر قوم خود اسرائيل، قومهای ديگر را نيز جمع كرده، به اسرائيل خواهم آورد.»
محكوميت رهبران اسرائيل
9خداوند به قومهای بيگانه دستور میدهد كه مانند حيوانات درنده به قوم او حمله كنند و آنان را بدرند.10او میگويد: «رهبران اسرائيل كه میبايست قوم مرا از خطر آگاه سازند، خود كور هستند و شعور ندارند. مانند سگهای گلهای هستند كه هنگام خطر پارس نمیكنند؛ فقط دوست دارند دراز بكشند و بخوابند.11سگهای حريصی هستند كه هرگز سير نمیشوند. اين رهبران قوم، فهم و شعور ندارند. هر چه دلشان میخواهد میكنند و فقط دنبال سود خود هستند.12آنها میگويند: ”بياييد شراب بياوريم و بنوشيم و مست شويم. زندگی همين است. فردا روز بهتری خواهيم داشت!“»
