1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name' sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Der HERR ist mein Hirte; mir wird nichts mangeln. 2 Er weidet mich auf grünen Auen und führt mich zu stillen Wassern. 3 Er erquickt meine Seele; er führt mich auf rechter Straße um seines Namens willen. 4 Und wenn ich auch wanderte durchs Tal der Todesschatten, so fürchte ich kein Unglück, denn du bist bei mir; dein Stecken und dein Stab, die trösten mich. 5 Du bereitest vor mir einen Tisch angesichts meiner Feinde; du hast mein Haupt mit Öl gesalbt, mein Becher fließt über. 6 Nur Güte und Gnade werden mir folgen mein Leben lang, und ich werde bleiben im Haus des HERRN immerdar.
