His Steadfast Love Endures Forever

1 A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! 2 Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! 3 Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his;* we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! 5 For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

1 Ein Psalm, der beim Dankopfer vorgetragen wird. Jubelt dem HERRN zu, alle Länder der Erde! 2 Dient dem HERRN mit Freude, kommt vor ihn mit Jubel! 3 Erkennt, dass der HERR allein Gott ist! Er hat uns geschaffen, ihm gehören wir.* Wir sind sein Volk, seine Herde, und er ist unser Hirte, der uns auf seine Weide führt!* 4 Kommt in die Tore seiner Stadt mit Dank, in die Vorhöfe seines Heiligtums mit Lobgesang!* Dankt ihm und preist seinen Namen! 5 Denn reich an Güte ist der HERR, ewig währt seine Gnade, und seine Treue gilt auch allen künftigen Generationen.
