Glorious Things of You Are Spoken

1 A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. A Song. On the holy mount stands the city he founded; 2 the Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob. 3 Glorious things of you are spoken, O city of God. 4 Among those who know me I mention Rahab and Babylon; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Cush*— “This one was born there,” they say. 5 And of Zion it shall be said, “This one and that one were born in her”; for the Most High himself will establish her. 6 The Lord records as he registers the peoples, “This one was born there.” 7 Singers and dancers alike say, “All my springs are in you.”

مَزْمُورٌ لِبَنِي قُورَحَ. تَسْبِيحَةٌ

1 أَسَّسَ اللهُ الْمَدِينَةَ عَلَى الْجِبَالِ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ. 2 أَحَبَّ الرَّبُّ أَبْوَابَ صِهْيَوْنَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ مَسَاكِنِ بَنِي يَعْقُوبَ. 3 يَتَحَدَّثُونَ عَنْكِ بِأُمُورٍ مَجِيدَةٍ يَا مَدِينَةَ اللهِ. 4 أَذْكُرُ مِصْرَ وَبَابِلَ بَيْنَ الَّذِينَ يَعْرِفُونَنِي، وَكَذَلِكَ فَلَسْطِينَ وَصُورَ مَعَ الْحَبَشَةِ، فَيَقُولُونَ: هَذَا وُلِدَ فِي صِهْيَوْنَ. 5 حَقّاً عَنْ صِهْيَوْنَ يَقُولُونَ: «هَذَا الإِنْسَانُ وَهَذَا الإِنْسَانُ وُلِدَ فِيهَا، وَالْعَلِيُّ يُثَبِّتُهَا». 6 يُدَوِّنُ الرَّبُّ فِي سِجِلِّ إِحْصَاءِ الشُّعُوبِ أَنَّ هَذَا وُلِدَ هُنَاكَ. 7 الْمُرَنِّمُونَ وَالْعَازِفُونَ عَلَى السَّوَاءِ يَقُولُونَ: «فِيكِ كُلُّ يَنَابِيعِ سُرُورِي».
